摘要：The sensor integration device is an auxiliary module and is used for
endoprostheses. The object of the invention is to provide the simplest possible device,which can be optionally inserted and is cost-effective to produce, for integrating sensorsinto intelligent endoprostheses with a modular construction, without the need forintervention in the design of the implant. To achieve this, a simple intraoperative handlingmethod should in particular be considered. Existing production and sterilisation
processes should remain the same for implant manufacturers. The object is achieved by asensor integration device for endoprostheses, said device having a cylindrical hollowbody that is sealed at both ends, the cavity of said body containing various sensors and adata transmission unit. The device is characterised in that it is an auxiliary module which isinserted into a bore in the proximal region of an endoprosthesis shaft and/or which formspart of an anchoring pin.
