摘要：A pressurometer interface circuit operative to provide serial, binary datarepresentative of patient pulse rate and patient systolic and diastolic blood pressures. Inresponse to automatic inflation and deflation of a cuff the interface circuit receives inparallel a plurality of bilevel signals, each associated with a given cuff pressure andindicating whether a Korotkoff sound response is detected at the cuff pressure. Thebilevel signals are converted, for efficient data communication, to serial binary codeddata representative of the boundaries of the range of pressures during which Korotkoffsounds are exhibited. Further binary data is generated indicating patient pulse rate asinterpreted from the Korotkoff sounds during deflation.
