摘要：A process for producing an optical fiber is disclosed. The process comprisesforming a primary coating layer on a glass fiber, forming a secondary coating layercomprising a polyamide resin or polyester elastomer composition containing a
polyfunctional monomer as a crosslinking agent, and crosslinking the secondary coatinglayer by irradiation with electron rays having a maximum transmittance thickness smallerthan the total thickness of the primary and secondary coating layers. The resultingoptical fiber has excellent heat resistance without causing optical transmission loss.
