摘要：A fluorescent lamp comprising, a bulb (1) having an outer surface and an innersurface, discharge gas contained in the bulb (1) and generating ultraviolet rays by a
discharge thereof, a pair of electrodes (4) provided to the bulb (1) for generating thedischarge, a phosphor film (7) formed on the inner surface of the bulb (1) and having anon-uniform thickness thereof, and an ultraviolet suppressing film (8) for suppressing theultraviolet rays formed to be faced with the phosphor film (7), characterized in that theultraviolet suppressing film (8) has non-uniform ability for suppressing ultraviolet rayspenetrating the phosphor film (7) in accordance with portions thereof to decrease thedifference in the intensity of the ultraviolet rays emitted from the ultraviolet suppressingfilm (8).
